Where did it go? I was looking for some suggestions but, "POOF" it's gone. In all fairness, I haven't looked for the forum for a while because I haven't needed any new gear---UNTIL NOW.

There's AudioAsylum.com, but most of those guys are completely insane.

They're way worse than most people here. They'll obsess over which wall outlets sound the best.

Yeah they take it to a whole another level. Pseudo-sience and unicorns galore.

This place is a haven of level-headness and reality compared to the hi-fi world. :p

    Not even close. Enjoy.

    For example...

"Be warned the power cord requires at least 100 hours of burn-in, break-in, settle-in, time before it really opens up and sounds good. I suggest hooking it up to an appliance for break-in. Just connecting to your Cambridge Azur 840C will take forever."

A lot of those guys make the "can hear the difference between smooth plate and ribbed plate TF 12AX7's but has no idea his guitar is horribly out of tune" guys look sensible.

The AudioReview forums aren't as wacky as some, at least they weren't years ago when I used to hang out there.
