Attention please, all VOX AC15/30 users:
Please take the poll.
Thanks & regards,
My p-90s like the low input. Sounds more growly, less sizzle, but very warm and lots of mid.
I put everything through the low input. I just like to be able to get it to stay cleaner at higher volumes..........
Thanks for your contributions.
My ears hear better clarity and bell-tone through the "Lo" input. I first noticed this on my old AC30TBX and currently with my AC15HW1(X). Even with low-output filtertrons and low-gain JJ ECC803S, this channel is the best way to get the sweetest clean sounds.
depends what you play
I have an ac15 and 30, both UK tbx versions.
I use the HI when using the ac15 and mostly use the LO when using the ac30, occasionally I'll use the HI in bigger venues.
I have a 2001 Vox AC15TBR and use the hi input.
It's funny...when I first got my ac15 H2, I used the high on the ef86 channel for thick grind, and the low on the tb channel for clean chime.
Now I use the lo on ef86 for thick clean and the high on tb for krraang grind.
I have been using the low input to get more clean headroom on the HW2X with Ric hi-gains and usually the high input with Ric toaster pickups.
I have used both inputs with a strat and like both, depending on what sound I want.
