What high gain modern amps are Marshall based?

How much can you change the basic Marshall architecture and come out with a sound completely non - Marshall?

You could probably ask the same question about Tubescreamers...

I'm interested to know what high gain heads are not Marshall inspired.

I once plugged a Marshall 1959 into an oversized Recto 4x12 and it sounded more like a Recto than any Marshall I've ever heard before.

Diezel has it's own unique thing, unique sound, EXCELLENT High Gain Tone!!!
Bogner is also a different animal...XTC 20th with 6L6's, AWESOME and not-Marshall...although not super high gain.

Trainwreck/Komet are unique. Not as high gain as some others mentioned though.

Pretty sure Soldanos are based on a modded Marshall circuit.

The Hot Rod series are based on Mike's Marshall Mods he used to do.
Still not really a Marshall sounding amp exactly

The SLO was influenced by the Mesa Mk IIB then taken beyond (except for the POS effects loop)

SLO doesn't sound like a Marshall to me. Sounds like a Mark series that I can actually dial in.

Agree with the Mesa, Fryette, and Diezel suggestions too.

Soldano is RCA circuit which Fender also uses , then Marshall copied them when they built the JTM45 in the 60's to start off on .

My Boogie Tri-Rec definitely does not sound like a Marshall.
