I am a fan of The Roots. A lot of people have exposure to them since being on Fallon. But they're an incredibly talented BAND. Live - they are unreal.
This album "Undun" is incredible. Fantastic musicianship abound. This song "Make My" is one of my favorites. It has such a serene pristine sound. Soothing and tranquil. Then the end comes in and has this old school groove that is just so inviting.
I did my best to play over this track. By no means perfect but overall - this is my interpretation if I were a hired studio axe for a quick take at it.
