Bill from Hipshot emailed me stating that their locking tuners with all the hardwares (mounting nut, washer and metal button) weigh only 33 grams (1.164 oz).

Thats about 4 oz lighter than kluson, almost 6 oz lighter than standard Sperzels and about 3.5 oz lighter than Sperzel Soundlok with plastic button. Also about 4 oz lighter than Waverly.

That's unbelievably light even for non-locking tuners. The 1:18 gear ratio only makes it even better, for my needs anyway.

    Anyone currently using them?

We've been using them since they first came out and I've had them on my my last two personal guitars. Outstanding tuners from a solid company.

Hi Jim, Thanks for chiming in.

Do you find them very light in weight compared to Sperzels?

    Thanks
