My 335 and I have been youtube'd. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhCRYAxKAjI Historic '63 335 with block inlays, going thru a Dm-3 and a Mesa Maverick. The solo starts after the sax solo, and it's me and bass only. Body and soul is the song. One of my favourite balads. It's clean, but I could have used a 808 or something for a Scofield feel, maybe a chorus too. The DM adds a bit of space. It's the only pedal always on at every gig in every situation. I also have a DM-2, but I prefer the 3 for ambience. This was recorded a month ago. Today this guitar has Wagner Crossroads/Darkburst, plus a RS Super kit. At that time it was stock, 57s and Gibson pots. Big difference? Yes. Huge? No, the 57s are much better in 335s than in Les Pauls. But it's still a big improvement anyway. BTW, at 55 seconds the video has a flaw. But after that it's fine!
