I sent my 2012 '59 Nashville RI to Kim and team to do a bit of work on. The neck was PHAT in the bottom half and wanted it slimmed down. I had once seen a 335 on the Wildwood website in a lush red color and decided to have it refinished as well. The color is "sparkling merlot" (cork sniffing you say?)...The guitar turned out really nice. The neck carve is superb and the thin finish gives it a great feel similar to a satin finish.

The guitar sounds incredible (as it did before) and maybe a bit more resonant. No mojo lost! Very happy with the result and HM exceeded my expectations.

Kim LaFleur is the Founder & CEO of Historic Makeovers. A few TGP members have sent there LP's for some TLC by the HM team.

That looks great! He does great work on necks!
I've considered sending my 59 Nashville 335 to Kim. He did my 59 Les Paul with the Real Deal Series makeover. I'm thrilled with it! Here's my Les Paul.
