I'm really conflicted about the new season of Vikings. The History Channel is rendering the show virtually unwatchable due to the relentless commercial interruptions. It's a real shame, since there are some interesting new characters and situations emerging. But the Real Vikings show that follows each episode is great. I can't usually tolerate two hours in a row of commercial tv, let alone a show with the constant advertising that effectively wrecks the drama and timing of the Vikings story line. But I'm fascinated by the research presented on Real Vikings. I don't know how long I can tolerate watching Vikings with all the interruptions, but for now I'll try to stick it out.
