just admitting it.
I'm so pleased with the Helix already, but its just fun to get new capability!
im not even sure which version im running lol. ive been extremely pleased with the purchase
I wouldn't get that excited about this particular version.
Don't be a Beta-Bragger
If you’ve struggled with the Helix tuner, this update couldn’t be further from what you said.
I'm persnickety about tuners and I cannot lie.
I know I am on a diverse forum when I can read one person's post in the voice of Golem and another in the voice of SirMixALot
True, but that was a struggle I never had. I've been struggling with The Man.
A strobe tuner has been on the very top of my list of things I want from the Helix since I bought it, so I'm very excited about this update. I can finally stop using an external tuner with it!
I have intonation work to do so its a win for me.
What is suppose to be in this update?
From what we know it's a tuner fix with an additional strobe mode.
There also appears to be a pixel-by-pixel "floating needle" mode.
There’s more than just the tuner there are a couple of things they mentioned
And a behind the scenes update that is major
So who knows maybe a sound change
When does 2.8 drop?
I'm hitting refresh to get HX Edit 2.70, so I can go down the IR rabbit hole with the Stomp. I am completely happy with the stock cabs, so why not jack everything up with IR's?
Whoah, finally a good tuner on the Helix? I'd kill for a strobe tuner on it and I had no idea that was coming in a patch this soon. If it has literally nothing else except for that, I'll be happy.
They're reducing the per-path block count to 6, in order to make HX Edit and Helix presets cross-compatible with HX Stomp.
