    Nearly 4G's ?

How do they justify such a price?

Is it because people are willing to dish out that kind of bread on the boutique amps, and they want a piece of the action?

I love my Reeves Custom 50. Bill has always said that the goal of Reeves Amps is to "out-hiwatt, Hiwatt." You get twice the amp at half the price... That's good math.

    Nah, $4000 is just goofy.

Maybe if it was one of the earliest (60's) versions of that amp, and in pristine condition, and only if the buyer is independently wealthy, and stupid.

I've owned DR103's from the 70's. Spectacular build quality and tone, to be sure. But $4000? No way.
