Hey guys,
I've been so inspired by all the cool videos that Jack Zucker has been doin', so
I just dug up this short video that I did about 3 years ago.
This was actually the "screen test" for my series of instructional videos on www.workshoplive.com
This is a very scaled down simple lesson, unlike the 10 I did for WSL

Recorded with a borrowed camcorder, internal mic

Gear: Heritage 535 (Dimarzio PAF Classic's), into 70's Marshall
Played to a super cheezy MIDI file, before I discovered all of the great BT's out there.

Nice one Harry, String bending is the coolest thing about guitar and most people do it but very few do it so smack on as you. It was the first thing that struck me about your playing when I heard you for the fisrt time a coulpe of months back. I think doing an hour just concentrating on string bending would do us all good. The sound on the video is great as well. :AOK

Harry,

You're the master with this stuff. Inspiring. I need 009's.......ouch

BTW, having computer tech problems, (nothing major) will get to our tune after NAMM.
Are you going to be there?

Oh please tell me there might be a Chuck/ Harry collaboration that us mortals might get to hear!

Such expressiveness, Harry, such creativity even in the finest details! I second Bub's suggestion for a string-bending lesson. There's always some amazing twists and turns in your playing, very inspiring, and thanks for posting.

Hey thx Chuck
Can't wait to hear what you do to that tune man
Of course, when I listen to my part, I want to redo it, but that is usually the case...
One of these years I need to go to NAMM. I keep on sayin' "next year"

This is exactly why I joined this forum Sen Sei. I needed to hear/see some wintertime clips of you to remind me that I need to shed... :) So killin'....
Also, where are these backings you mentioned? I'd be interested in putting my spin on some of the ones I've heard. Hope all is well. I'll check back in on here
when I get back from NAMM. See ya.

Thanks Harry. Nice lesson. I like where ya bend that note on the second string with your 3rd finger. I always used my pinky, but I can see now that if you bend it with your 3rd insteed, you still have your pinky to bend even higher to the $9 note of that A7th, still on the 2nd string. I think learning to bend with control and good pitch is vital for most guitar players

I especially liked the bits of humor ("Blues face"). Nice to hear how vocal and musical those lines were. Definately gonna work on my bends today!

Have fun at NAMM!

Cheers,

Edward
