hmmm mesa f-50 head and cab

    I can snag one (mesa f-50 head and 1x12cab) for $700 maybe $650.... do you think its worth getting and the trying to flip it on the bay?

    usually the head goes for $700.. I guess it aint worth the hassle...

    It would be a good deal if you were in the market for a F-50.

    I have had to eat a few amps that I thought I could flip. The F50 isn't one of Mesa's better sounding amps (IMHO, might be the worst sounding Mesa; either the F50 or Nomad 45). I'd say buy it only if you can afford to keep it and live with the tone.

    sold my F50 head for $650 a while back...

    I dig the F50, Tommy Inkila has some majestic clips up on HCAF. The amp did get some awards when it was released. IMO "worst" mesa is still pretty nice sounding.
