    Hello,
Anyone know what the output is on this old solid state vintage amp? Own one?

I'm trying to build a 4x10 cabinet to match it and don't know what speakers to look for. The amp has two unmarked 1/4" speaker outs. The original Holmes cabs were 4x10's loaded with "16 ohm, 20 oz. magnet, 1.5" VC". Other than that, the info is VERY scant on both the amp and even more so with the cabinet.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

Well , one would have the choice of 4 ohms or 16 ohms with that original speaker set, right? IF I had to guess...and it is a guess....I would think that it would have been 4 ohms.
Do you know how those 16 ohm speakers were wired?

Steppin' Wolfe thanks for the reply. I haven't a clue. But I found out the head is 2 ohms.
    I don't know what the wattage is yet - I think it's 80 @ 8ohms and 200 @ 2ohms. What wattage/kind speakers do you recommend for say, a 4 ohm 4x10 cabinet for this thing?

Trying to understand this stuff! : )

    Thanks
