Wow, I'm floored. This amp is phenomenal. So damn rich, full and crunchy. At the right volume too.

Bob is just the best in the biz. Damn it's a great amp!!!

I agree. I love my Reinhardt 18. I've been trying to bring the love back at a reasonable volume for my Matchless DC-30 and have ordered a BadCat leash and some Mullard Tubes(not arrived yet), but I'm thinking the money I spent on both (>$1000, plus selling the DC) would have got me any Reinhardt out there and I'd be happy as a clam.

    Does it have power scaling?

Zekmoe, I also have a Reinhardt 18w (MI6) and after being blown away with that amp thought I really should try one of Bob's slightly louder amps...

Suffice it to say that like you, had I simply gone to Bob first I wouldn't have needed to try all kinds of stuff beforehand... not to mention all the $ spent on OD pedals!

It does have the power scaling. Works flawlessly, but really now that I've played with the amp a bit I don't think it needs it - at lower volume the tone and crunch is there! Nice to have tho' :)

I kinda wondered about needing the PS and decided to go with it as well. My Titan was just a little too loud in some clubs at 36 watts so I figured it couldn't hurt after talking to Bob about it.

It's nice to hear that if I have to use the PS at shows, it'll probably be just to knock it down a hair!

Congratulations anyway, FRL!......man, 6-8 weeks can sure seem like a long time!

Anybody have a Storm? Seems like a great plexi to jcm 800 amp, but no sound clips anywhere.

Hey RGB, it is totally worth the wait. And it is so beautifully built. :)

(BTW, my initials are RGB also...)

Let us know how the Titan is! I've got an 18, but am considering the Titan or Storm for more headroom.

I got my JKC33 about three months a go and I still can't believe how incredible this amp is. I've been looking for an amp like this for over 30 years.
FWIW- it doesn't need Power Scaling or any other kind of attenuation it's just perfect without it.
