Hot Plate Question

I'm considering picking up a Hot Plate for use with a Deluxe Reverb. I know I'm looking for an 8ohm version. Is there anything I need to know about power ratings? I.e., will a Hot Plate work with pretty much anything in the 15-100 watt range?

You can run a 100w plexi with a Hotplate easily, so a Deluxe Reverb would be no problem at all.
