Hotone Ampero Live gig patch suggestions

    Mike Duncan wrote>
It just requires pressing 2 buttons but you could hard patch the bank ready to go if you need to go from a clean directly to a solo. You're effectively getting 6 patches per bank this way.
    Bank 1: General all songs
Clean + CTL delay for solo
Crunch + CTL Delay for solo (blues sh**)
Marshall type Drive + CTL Delay and reverb for solo (Parisienne sh**)
    Bank 2:
Prince clean and as in bank 1 but Patch 3 hard wired for solo
    Bank 3:
Dire straight and ZZ top but Patch 3 hard wired for solo
    Patch 1 Drive
    Patch 3 Solo hard patched

This update may promote sales big time to the A=432Hz conspiracy crowd

The display modes option is a huge improvement! The 1.2X zoom option in the new editor is a huge improvement as well!

    Is it Mooer
A lot of their icons look like Line6 and the board looks like a cross between a Headrush and Helix
Scary thing is it sounds decent

I updated my firmware to 3.2 from 3.1, using Editor version 1.2.1.....All went well, and presets were retained.

I then updated Editor to 1.2.2, but upon opening it says "The Ampero Editor software version is not compatible with your device."

I even uninstalled the Editor and reinstalled it, to no avail.

I'm gonna revert back to 1.2.1 and see if it works, but I'd like to keep everything current. Any ideas?

Edit: Crud..... same result with Editor v 1.2.1

That's really funny! Agreed the 1.2x view makes a huge difference!

This is a great unit to begin with, and keeps getting better with every update.

I'm more than satisfied with the feel, sounds and selections of the included amps and effects, and the touch screen UI is simple, elegant and very well implemented. I personally find it much easier on the workflow to use IR's instead of the stock cabs and mics.

My only wish list items for this unit currently are:
BIGGER font for the patch name - even if it gets cut off at a certain character limit, and I would gladly trade the expression pedal for 2 switches in it's place (that would require new hardware though - which I'd be glad to purchase).

^^ Agreed! - Ampero is a clever product in a class by itself and performs better than many other units - I much prefer Ampero VS HX Stomp.
