Hotplate for HT-5 combo

Hello all,
As we all know 5 watts is really too loud even for a home. I have found that my amp (blackstar ht-5 combo) when cranked puts out over a 100db. So I decided to buy a THD hotplate. I need to decide which one.
So I looked at the back of the amp and the amp out is connected to the 16ohm speaker (in built) is what I think.
Here's the blackstar manual. There are other output jacks on it. They say "1x8" or "2x16". Do I need to consider any of these jacks when I am buying the hotplate?
I intend to use the inbuilt speaker and do not have another cab for the blackstar.

Regards
JK

You only need to worry about what you will be plugging into, so no, you don't have to worry about the other options.
