This is assuming if you are reading you have scene the first two seasons (SPOILERS BELOW)....

I've had a bad cold this week and didn't feel like doing much, so I ended up watching season 2 again. It held up to repeated viewing and I almost wish I would have just started at season 1.

    Any predictions for season 3?

I think Jackie and Orsay will play more prominent roles.

Will Frank end up pardoning Tusk?

Is Frank always going to get what he wants?

    Is Stamper dead?

And what the heck was up with that Meechum 3 way?

EDIT: Please don't leak anything from the British version to those of us who have not seen it.

I was JUST about to post this same thing. I can't wait. Spacey really owns this role.

Definitely looking forward to it. Been trying to catch up on other shows, knowing this was coming out, and GOT is right around the corner.

we enjoy it and look forward to it

we watched the BBC original so it kinda foreshadows what will happen in the US version but the differences make it interesting enough to see how they'll interpret plot points, etc

looking forward to seeing lady macbeth as a brunette (if the leaked stuff is true)

    cheers

oh yeah. I heard that it was accidentally put on Netflix early for like, a day, then they pulled it down. Can't wait to see what shenanigans Frank gets into.. and if he's still playing COD. You know, the latest one features him as a main character. Would be a nice easter egg.

I watched the British version last year, which was sorta similar, sorta not. The Brit version was made around 1990 and looks a little dated now in certain respects. The new version has greatly expanded the role of the wife, for instance, and Robin Wright just kills it.
So I know the fate of the British leader in that series (Frank Urquhart). It's probably no clue as to what happens in the American series (to Frank Underwood).

Yes, I'm looking forward to it. The show really got you thinking about the manipulation among men consumed by power.

Now that Frank is president I wonder where his attention will turn. It seems like most of his actions in season 1 and 2 were to get him to this point. Now, does he just want to get re-elected (likely IMO) or does he really care about getting stuff done (unlikely IMO)?

I'm watching, then dumping Netflix again for a while.
I usually take a break so they can build-up their inventory, then I binge watch for another period.

For my money, it's the best bisexual President of the United States drama we have going these days.:brick

We've watched season 1 and have season 2 at the ready. Great show, one of the few the misses and I can watch together.

Great show, but I think it would have been great if the series ended with that shot of him behind the desk in the Oval Office.

But then we wouldn't be able to watch him fall!

I haven't seen the British version, but this season should be about the enemies he's made tearing into him.

At the end it seemed kind of rushed to get him in there, like they were tying up the loose end, I assumed that was the end of a great 2 season show. I'm actually kind of worried there won't be much for him to do now. We shall see.
