Hey thanks! It's a live gig, St. Pat's Day. Nah, I wish I could drum and play bass like that!!! There are some issues with EQ-ing and whatnot I have to tackle, but hey.... it's all good fun. Now to write something that kickass! Sheeeeezzzz!

If you know what Jimi is using for that perma-flange effect on his guitar, I'd sure like to know, because I don't. It seems not to sweep, so I'm thinking... ring modulator??? Or a really steady flanger?

(Set up was just some mics over the kit, direct line from bass rig, and one mic on each guitar amp--two Fenders. The Orange was added at home.)

Thanks MIKE! I've re-recorded the voice since this post. Used a SM57 so I could get right on top it instead of standing back from the condenser (in order to avoid plosives) which I think makes it sound a little thinner than natural. I'll repost it and see. But thanks man. Serious.

Vocals are great, that's a proper vocalist. Most of the time it's a third rate Robert Plant ripoff!

I'd bring the drums slightly down in the mix and bring up the guitar, it needs to sound thicker.

Awesome job, original version isn't too thick if you listen well. I would even remove some bass freqs...anyway :AOK

    Hey Paul,

I'm still listening to the clip, man it's good!
Did you try the Chorus with intensity at min? It's pretty close to that sound?
