    Hello my fellow gearheads,
I am heading to Houston this weekend and will have a bit of free time to wonder. Can recommend a few music stores to squander some time in. I would prefer boutique/vintage goodies.
    Thanks

The GC on Westheimer has a killer Vintage & Platinum selection.

I second Rockin' Robin's. I wanna try out about 75% of their pedals.

Fuller's is pretty cool, haven't been to Rockin' robins yet.

Also, I'm a lefty, so I'm pretty partial to Southpaw Guitars... Although they're kinda douche bags about their equipment.

All of us Houston folks should get together for a pedal / amp party... Delayed - I've also got several cool lefties I could bring...

Thank you. Looks like I have a couple options for time and money spending.

Yeah... I mean... they offered me a pretty good deal once on a USA Strat, I just didn't have the money for. But when I was genuinely looking for a nice acoustic, they really didn't seem to like me trying out all the > $1,000 acoustics they had. I was delicate and respectful, but at the same time, I was potentially a paying customer, and I felt like they were constantly looking over my shoulder.

Yes, they are. I called to ask a simple question, and they hung up on me with no explanation.

I don't know about this, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Rockin Robin is my personal favorite in Houston. The Westheimer GC is actually pretty nice too.

Fuller Vintage has some good folks there. I been knowin Bart at Rockin Robin since the 70's when he had his first shop on Rice Blvd, great guys there too, That's always my first stop when I'm in Houston.
