    Hi,

There are rumours about Bruno building great amps but for some reason there seems to be little talk about him here.

Ant views on the Bruno amps?

    Cheers,

    Mats N

    How about a Bruno? No.

Just kidding. As for little talk, just search Bruno in the Amps and Cabs forum.

Have a CT22 - love it! It is one my two favorite amps I've ever owned. Will probably get another Bruno at some point. Anything specific you want to know?

BTW, does Tony do mods, or custom work on existing amps?

Do you have this saved somewhere so you just keep cutting and pasting it?

One of my customers loves his Bruno Underground 30 (actually, several do) so much that the last time I spoke with him he said he was gonna marry Tony (Bruno) before they made it illegal. ROFL!

CT22 here. I have bought and sold several amps after this one, sold my vintage super reverb. No regrets. I'm off the market. :AOK

    Hi Hawk,

Not related to my knowledge. I'm married to a twin though and sometimes she gives me the evil eye. :D

    Cheers,

UG30 with the right pedal (I like the Eternity) is unbelievably versatile.

Did Tony Bruno really have a hand in the design of the Sovtek Mig amps? I'm looking for reasonably priced small head as a back-up/practice amp, and the old non-master Mig 50 sounds like it could be a winner. Anyone have any experience with these amps?
    Thanks,
    Rick

Yes, and they sound fantastic. Get a good one and it will probably turn into your # 1 amp.

Thanks Tag. My Demeter TGA-3 has been Numero Uno for some time. If the Mig 50 gets that close, I'll consider myself a lucky guy.

The MIG 50 is NOWHERE NEAR the TGA3 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .. I have a great MIG-50 modded by Danny Russell/Naylor that I never use in mint shape that I'm selling someday ( I need car money ) but even modded by Naylor it's not on the same planet as a TGA3. That's not to say it's not a great amp, but it shares NOTHING in common with a TGA3 .. SO to me if a guy had a TGA3 as his main amp , he'd never ever switch to a MIG-50. If a guy used a bassman he might , or a guy used various Marshalls he might or even many other more expensive amps he might but not the TGA3. That's a VERY unique amp and the gain on that amp is outrageously rich and different. The MIG-50 (at least my Naylor version , has nowhere near the gain of the TGA3, and none of its qualities. It's great for the 'ontheverge of breakup or REALLY SMOOTH blues gain or raw rock tones. IF anyone is interested in a great Naylor/Sovtek Mig50 I'd sell for 550.00 and it's in perfect shape but I haven't even advertised it yet as I tend to procrastinate! ERIC

No need to be sorry. I didn't think it would come close. Like I posted earlier, "I'm looking for a reasonably priced small head as a back-up/practice amp, and the old non-master Mig 50 sounds like it could be a winner." Maybe a nice quiet clean platform for pedals. Tag suggested that it could turn into a #1 amp, obviously not realizing I had the Demeter.
If you're interested in selling yours send me an email and some pics with a description of the mods and your asking price. rcd41@aol.com
    Thanks,
    Rick
