I just bought a Danocaster Esquire from Dan for a ridiculously good price and man.....this guitar just wails! As I said to Dan, "It screams like a scalded ape!":D
It wildly exceeded my expectations. It is a HUGE value for the buck. Makes Fender Custom Shop stuff pale by comparison.
    It's barely 6lbs. I can't quit playing the thing!
How about it guys......let's show some Danocaster love!:bow

If it sounds as good as it looks, then I need to really start looking at getting one.

Every one that I have seen has been visually stunning. Now, to hear that it sounds/plays great as well....

I'll throw in...just spent the last couple hours playing mine. I have a Dakota Red Freakin' Danocaster...alder body, rosewood board. I agree wholeheartedly that it puts all the other Fender CS teles I have played to shame. Just an amazing player, really vibrant and toneful. Mine is a beast as well...the bridge is killer and the neck is fantastically thick. I am really happy with mine and Dan is an awesome guy who seems to really care about his instruments and his customers. I am thinking about picking up a Jazzmaster one of these days, too!

I loved that one - I was surprised it took so long to find a home - but it seems like it will be loved where it ended up ;)

It honestly makes my day to hear that they are being received enthusiastically !!

thank you SO much - and your "scalded ape" quote is on my website !!

You guys said, Dan does VERY nice work. His relicing is damn near perfect but the feel of his instruments is what really impresses me. One of the best feeling neck finishes I've had my hands on. He is also a great guy to deal with and obviously cares deeply about what he does. Here are some pics of the Inca tele Dan made. I still need to post a proper review as this guitar is wonderful in every way.

Awesome guitar! Love the copper finish. If I could have sold my LP DC Pro in time it would have been mine. ;)

I have no love for your copper Esquire... You broke into my brain stole my idea, and created it. Then had the nerve to not leave a thank you note :) I hope you love it and I really wish I would have seen it before I started mine haha. I'll post pics as soon as I finish it. It looks just like that one, after a long weekend.:drink

Dano, you do some sick work.

I think this TravisE quote sums it up-
"I'm starting to think that Dan just stole some guy's vintage collection and is selling it really cheap so he doesn't get caught."

Your guitars are great Dan, not like a replica but rather more as if you got some DNA and cloned them!
Your builds are like a vintage collection.

CD, I have no doubt that is a killer guitar, but it's your camera skills that never cease to amaze me.
