I haven't found a specific thread on this and I know it's something a lot of new/potential H9 users are curious about. I bought a powertrain 1250 thinking the 500ma output will power the H9 perfectly. It is currently on its way but in the mean time I plugged it in using the red centre positive cable from my 400ma output on my VL Iso 5 and it seems to be working like a dream? Will anything 9v or 12v from 400ma up power it successfully and without damage?

400mA is fine for the H9. Powering it at 12V is recommended though, even though it can be powered at 9V. I have recently measured the H9's power output and have consistently measured at 271mA without and aux switch or MIDI footswitch hooked up to it.

    I use a Cioks DC10, with the 12v 400mA outputs.
