30" x 12". Thought it would be enough when I only anticipated one row of pedals with the power unit sitting on the board - approx 4 and a wah quite generously spaced. Roll on 4 years:
The power unit sits underneath it now and there are two rows of pedals all quite closely packed [8 plus wah], but this still helps me curtail my purchases somewhat. It is a squeeze in some places [glad we don't have a keyboard player] to fit in, but I'm happy with it and couldn't imagine changing it for anything better - I have enough with swapping pedals around on it every gig, as I try out new ones!
I just recently got my first pedal board (Ive been playing 20+ yrs!). I got a Pedaltrain JR and love it. Its the perfect size and Im kinda a minimalist. So far only 4 pedals on it, 1 of which is a tuner, haha.
I like my PedalTrain 2. Keeps me under control. It's rather dominated by a rackmount device zip-tied to it (Lexicon Vortex, does all my time-based stuff except for an analog Guyatone flanger). The expression pedal for the Vortex goes off-board, and the switches for it are mounted on top (I do NOT stomp them), as does my tuner. All this fits in the PT road case.
If it don't fit in the road case, it don't come along.
