How do I get that cheesy lead tone on the Jeopardy! music?

It’s not the theme music exactly, but when they go to commercial somebody is shredding hard in the background. Any ideas?

I'm not sure. But what I do know is that someone will post this thread on Reddit. I can see it now...

I'll have to search YT for the commercial break part that you are talking about.

Are you talking about the part at 13:53?

I’m talking about the American version. Although that brass interlude is quite nice.

Hmm I'd like to hear a clip. I'm a wagie, so I don't really get to indulge in the Jeopardy too often. Glad to see the big brain get some recognition though.

*I decided that I'd be late for work today and looked it up. Music at 5:12?

I never watched Jeopardy so I was unaware of multiple versions. Makes sense, I just never thought about it.

It's kinda hard to hear in any detail. Seems like a generic "liquid lead guitar tone"? I'd use my Zendrive into my Mosferatu.

Sounds like a Strat neck pickup into a TS?

    :dunno

It's probably more chops than gear besides those two things.

I think the main theme is a bridge pup, solo section is a neck pup. I'd use any HH guitar, TS9, Mesa, and you'd be there.
