how do white pickups look on a whte guitar?

    Gents, I'm considering installing white humbuckers in a white Les Paul Studio. How would that look?

    It would look pretty white.


    Seriously, I think it might look cool, but you'd have to make sure the humbuckers were the same shade as the finish on the guitar. Easier said than done. I found that the "cream" appointments I tried to put on a Studio a few years ago were actually closer to peach colored. You don't realize how many shades are out there until you start trying to match them.

    I put white pickup covers on a white Jackson once, I thought it looked cool. This was during my "no guitar can stay stock" phase.

    pretty much like black soapbars or emg's in an ebony les paul........except in this case white :munch
