to lift my amp as I have a hiatal hernia. My Marshall 2203X is heavy. So it's a problem to lift it out of its shell to bias it. How do you do it? Are there any tricks?

dittoI usually grab the chassis by the transformers and slide it out the back until you can get underneath it.
I do too. I wish they were all like that.I love modern amps that are easy to bias without pulling the chassis.
I complain about this a lot, but I don't think modern amp makers have an excuse anymore, especially boutique makers.I do too. I wish they were all like that.
This. I usually lay it on a piece of 1" foam, a folded towel or rug just to provide a bit of extra protection for knobs.Take out all of the screw, lay amp on it's back, and lift the shell.
I had a Marshall once that the tolex was holding chassis from coming out.Take out all of the screw, lay amp on it's back, and lift the shell.
