You understand how a natural harmonic works? Like, doing a harmonic on the 12th fret with the open string?

It's the same principle, except he's causing a harmonic on the same note an octave higher.

Usually you have to do index+thumb to pluck the harmonic as you fret the note 12 frets lower.

You can do it with chords and it's really nice...

I can do the harmonic thing (actually I hold the pick with my first and thumb.. I hit the harmonic with my index and pluck with the pinky)

But when he does it is a struming but his right hand doesnt seem to be jumping from fret to fret..
