How does the Ethos clean channel take pedals?

i'm wondering if its a cool thing to build a rig around the Ethos...using it as a preamp. I don't just run my pedals at unity but really crank them at times. Does the Ethos take pedal slamming well?

Do a search, I know BILBAL was using a Zendrive into the clean channel but can't say how hard he was driving it. I will leave it to the master himself

I'm interested in the same thing for direct recording but no Ethos yet.
