Just curious. Thinking of picking one up since you can get all those neat dub sounds.

you can get lots of repeats. in fact, you can get it to self-oscillate it you turn it up all the way. very nice unit. i don't play without it anymore

Huh? Really? I had no idea the things could self oscilate... thats really cool. But just before it does that do you know the counted number of repeats?

+1. TTE lives in the fx loop of my ganesha. Never sat there and counted the exact number of repeats, but it's more than enough for me. How many repeats are you looking to get?

BTW: the TTE has a secret weapon of adding some really nice organic boost to the signal if you want to push it past unity gain. It was expensive, but worth it to me.

Hmmm... you know, I don't have a set idea about the repeats, I'm just looking for a number that will get me into sound on sound territory if need be.

Self oscillation is infinite repeats .. so just before it completely self-oscillates it will have infinity-1 repeats.

Ah, but infinity-1 is still infinity :).

What's important is that being an analog delay, the number of repeats could probably be defined as an uncountable infinity. Contrast with a digital delay set to Hold, which is definitely a countable infinity.

I'm not making this up, although I may have got lost on the way to another forum ;).

    um...
    yes.
better OD than my TS9, CJOD, eternity or multi-screamer.
i don't even think about the cost anymore. it's worth it for so many different reasons.
