I tell my wife that would she rather have me spend money on guitars or hookers. I won that argument.

Excel only holds like 65556 rows - I ran out of room!

More than I should have or really care to know. :D

I think I'm better off not adding it up.

To me it was (is) a learning process..If i was smarter i probably would have gotten to where i am a lot cheaper..have made more than a few uninformed purchases, costly mistakes.

I try to buy used whenever possible. If you're a savvy shopper you can buy lots of gear, keep the good stuff and sell what you don't want/need for what you paid for it or even for a profit.

In the last year alone I've bought and sold well over $10K worth of gear, yet I still have a good chunk of change in my PayPal account because I flipped a large portion of it, often for a profit.

    My answer.....a few thousand

    My wife's answer........a FORTUNE!!!!!

Just kidding...she got me started with a Taylor 710ce and its just been better and better since then. She has never once said..that enough. Today she asked if I'd be added the new Taylor Solidbody to the collection.

I Think I have $16K in guitars $5K in amps and misc stuff.

There's your mistake! Don't put it in a spreadsheet! Tell her all of your guitars cost $500 and the same for amps, or less. No paper trail! :D
