Pretty good, but pass.
First, I have to like it.
This is not bad at all, I like it.
Prices seem not exorbitant given what I see from other non-Dylan painters of skill and some reputation (as painters).
I expected the worst, but actually I like it. The prices aren't crazy like I expected either.
John Mellencamp is a heckuva painter too. IIRC he showed Dylan some of his work and Bob encouraged him to start showing it publicly. Now he's more artist than musician, and is a bit more talented than Dylan.
Original paintings definitely.
He pretty talented I'd say....and the prices for a hand painting are not overly alarming.... fine art has always been priced from $0 to (insert redonkulous price here) depending on subjectivity.
So $2400 for a pretty nice painting by a celebrity isn't hugely out of bounds...
It's a print, not a painting.
Oh. Then $5
Divide the prices by 10 and I'd be all over one. I think the prices are right in the range of what this type of thing goes for but I'm not the market demographic.
I missed that too.
Not gonna be touching a Dylan original painting for 2-5k though imo.
I wouldn’t pay a nickel for it, but if I had one I’d try to sell it for as much as I possibly could.
Original Dylan lyric sheets are probably the only thing for which I would consider opening the wallet. Darn good painter though! That’s pretty cool.
Did he paint the originals from a blank canvas or is he stylizing photographs with paint?
When I see this kind of thing I get reminded of Miles Davis “little paintings” that could be had for about $500 which was a bridge too far for me at that time. After his death they jumped to around 5K.
Looks like autographed albums are fetching 200-300 bucks, rather have one of those
The only autograph I have ever wanted.. and Les and I had a great talk... and it was free

Dylan is one of the 7 wonders of the world....but prints are worthless and autographs are silly.
pass, pass & pass.
Prices are good, will appreciate in value.
I'm thinking no.
