How much would a Teisco TG-64 be worth?

    I would say $400 would be the price for one in all original condition. the refin probably drops it to $300. harder to say on something in this price braket. obviously the mods and refin cost money and effort, and as is often the way, you just don't get that money back. probably a big fat bummer to the seller.

    Well, he's increased the value ten fold by giving it a good paint job, but it's not worth as much as it would be if it were in all-original condition. it does look nice in Blue.

    In this economy, $300 would be fair.

    Those are GREAT pickups, though...maybe not quite as meaty as the earlier "gold foil" units, but quite fine nonetheless. I've got them in a Coodercaster part Strat and a Hammertone Octave XII and like them a lot. They seem to have a little more snarl than a stock Strat pickup, but still have lots of chime and definition.
