Also check out Everglade & Shove!
They, like other bands of their era made some great singles, maybe an album or two. Then, post Nirvana were signed to major label contracts & got lost in the shuffle.
That being said, I remember a time when I thought that they & 7 Year Bitch ruled!
Always dug them, and still listen to them today
Yeah, I always thought they were kind of a big deal.
Because they are women.
Saw them in a small club , JC Dobbs one of the best shows show I've seen.
These days I mainly play in Classic rock cover bands but Always wanted to do stuck here again, think it will fit in well, the lyrics are tough and nothing a guy would feel silly singing. I always get the sure and it gets forgotten. Did a one off gig with a neighbor who was a roadie of theirs years ago. once in a while Finch will come to visit but never met her.
They had a movie about them that came out a year or 2 ago.
I had a '47 L7 yrs ago. Great guitar. Still remember the serial #. Sold it in a fit of stupidity.
They're were and are a fantastic rock band. Still pretty active.
Did a ton of gigs with them in the '90s and they were always a blast to hang with. Really funny, smart women.
Because they were terrible.
Interesting Philadelphia mention because supposedly Paul from the Serial Killers hooked up with one of the women.
The songs just weren't very good...
They’re kinda square...
I'm gonna like and then UNLIKE your post Mr Wooly Bully cuz I was gonna say that! That'll learn ya!
Let’s don’t take no chance!
Same for me, I always cite them as one of the highlights of live performances I've seen in my lifetime.
When we saw them there was a lot of crowd-surfing, including members of the band.
At the time The Palace was right around the corner from the Thai Consulate, but the Consulate has since moved.
I walked past there last time I was in L.A. for the Whisky' 50th Anniversary, & my first thought was of L7, even though I'd seen many bands perform there.
They were really big in the 90s. Nothing lasts forever...except the Stones and U2
Not even... cold november rain?
Weren’t they the ones that had 1 or more used tampon chucking members?
Because they didn't sexualize themselves, as is expected from the majority of women in show business
