Note that 'delete' = 'leave' in Xenforo.

If you go to your conversations, there's now a "Conversation Tools" widget in the upper right. From there, you can export all conversations (or leave all conversations).

To delete a specific conversation: go to your inbox and select (click on the box left of the subject line) conversations you want to 'leave'. Click them and then click 'other action' and 'leave conversations'.

Can you change the label to say delete instead of leave? I'm sure this is easily doable. I just spent half an hour trying to clean up my inbox and couldn't find the function.

if you "leave" a conversation can you "re-enter" it later?

Could you up the message limit? Surely they can't take that much space, and a typical transaction might easily involve 5-10 messages back and forth confirming tracking, etc. Thx!

Great... I just deleted (left?) all my conversations. How can I get some of them back?

I just did the same thing. Is there a way we can get them back? I did not mean to do that.

If you delete a message and it never comes back, was it ever really there at all?

That's a question for all of the people that are going to think I'm an a$$hole for leaving their conversation. smh

    Bumping for some help.

I'd like to know if this is possible as well: looking to recover an old conversation that i "left" (but did say that i would accept future responses, if that means anything in terms of my being able to see the conversation again) Thanks for any help!

I do not believe that is possible once deleted...they're gone.

    1. Go to your messages inbox by clicking Messenger in the top left of Facebook.
    2. Open the conversation you want to delete.
    3. Click in the top right and click Delete.

This direction does not work. I had 98 conversations, checked the box next to the ones that I wanted to remove, then went to other actions and selected leave. ALL of my messages were deleted, including the ones that were not checked, and I wanted to keep.
I'm very disappointd in TGP for this....

You must have hit "select all", I have no problem selecting specific conversations and remove only them per the instructions.

As Blix above notes, if you click 'select all' then you will delete all messages.
