    out in left field, apparently...
I've had it paused since day one as well.
I also use Tor, Duck Duck Go, etc.
There's no visible record on that page of my activities.
I'm thinking of moving to Linux as well.
It's not that I have anything to hide, but I'm pretty sure that Apple, Google, and Microsoft
conspired, and then carried out a joint operation that successfully whacked my dog.
I'm not telling if I got a new puppy or not, 'cause you just never know.

reminds of two friends who cover their webcam with tape so no one will hack in and watch them.....I ask them why in the heck does someone want to watch you. If someone is watching me they are pretty bored

not real concerned about my google searches either - I am not that exciting

I like having pictures of guitars turn up in the ads I see on websites, rather than pictures of random stuff I don't have any interest in.

Of course, every time I look at a pair of shoes or something I get ads for those as well, I could do without those. But overall, it doesn't bother me what google knows about me. I won't be seeing tinfoil hats in the ads I get as a result of my searching for them.

Uh oh, I better go put some pants on.

Sometimes I just want to write an app that logs in as me and searches for totally random stuff: Twinkie art, Alaskan camel races, paperclip defoggers, smog recycling, etc.

I can only imagine the ads I'd see.

Those guys would steal from anybody.

(Hope google isn't watching. I could be in a lot of trouble for that one.)

Yep, I paused it from the beginning. I didn't see any need for it.

I don't particularly care if Google remembers what I search for. It isn't as if I'm looking for anything illicit. Or illegal.

They want to look at my history they'll probably die of boredom.
