Hi. I'm interested in learning more about the electronics of guitar effects. In particular I'd like to know exactly what they do, and how to diagnose them and fix them if there's a problem. (like the "new" non-working Q-tron I just received terribly shipped from some Ebay ding-dong).

Can anyone recommend some good resources, online or otherwise, where I could start to learn the ins and outs of Pedal Electronics? Or, any other suggestions?

    much appreciated.

diystompboxes.com is THE site to go. There's a lot of people who are willing to help with any questions as well. It got me started.

Geofex.com is another good one. The page style is a little weird to sift through, though.
