Just wondering how to spot a fake Tokai?

I love my LS-90Q and would like to buy another Tokai.
With so many fraudulent China copies no floating around, how can one be sure what they buy is authentic?
Surely a serial # is not enough to go by. If they can copy the guitar, they can surely stamp a serial # that appears legit.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Buy one from a known Japanese dealer.

Tokai makes copies, they're very nice guitars but they're copies.

I'd imagine if someone was going to build illegal copies, they'd copy the originals, not a copy of a copy.

Other than that, what Mike said.

Actually, the Chinese have been, as you say, copying copies, for a while now.
