Non-pro ok, but still pays $200, or twice the TGP Magic Number!

DJ NEEDED FOR SMALL RESTURANT GIG NON PROS ARE OK 5/15 - 5/16 (United States)

    compensation: $200 and meal provided
We're holding a grand opening for our restaurant/drink shop over the course of 2 days (5/15 - 5/16), and need someone who can play music and host for a couple of hours each day. You do not need to be a professional, but do have your own equipment.

Food will be provided, and we are offering $200 dollars for a couple (3 to 8) of hours for 2 days. If you can do only one day, we would prefer you on the 15th.

Message me back asap if you're interested and want more details!

My guess they just want some background music but not radio, XM or Pandora. Not bad if you have a small rig and a couple of ipods. Easy in/out. But an 8 hour gig might be way to long. I'd be playin' some long Bob Dylan song when its time to go pee. Deal killer might be the grub. Vegan? Sorry Mate.

Well, want to make money in music? Why not? Apparently, there's an audience wanting this and willing to pay.

I might take that gig if I didn't have anything else going on.

    WTH.
