How would you build your ultimate 5-pedal board?

Hmmmm, 5 board pedalboard?

My guitar is a PRS HBII with dragon II pickups, The amp would be my Silver Jubilee, and the pedals would be my JHS boost clone for goosing the front end, a reverb for in the loop, and possibly a 7 band eq for lead boost/eq since i don't use a channel switch.... Maybe if I am crazy, Ramblefx Twin Bender for some raspy rattly fuzz

Leaves one space open just in case :D

Been playing the Strat a lot lately, so lets go with that. 60's style.

Board could be a Pedaltrain Jr. or similar I think. Iso Brick or similar power underneath.

King Tone Duellist
EHX Ram's Head Big Muff RI
Boss CE-2
Boss DD-200
A fancy reverb. Using a TC Hall of Fame now, but I don't like it.

I would go with my Gibson R7 Les Paul, into my Fillmore 50. I would use a Pedaltrain Jr,
with a Strymon Zuma as the PU. Pedals would be:

Sunface CV7005
Mobius
Klon KTR
Revival Drive Compact
Source Audio Collider

I would be happy with this :)

go with mostly dual pedals, or multifx
Vemuram Shanks 3
Cali76 G-P(with germanium boost)
Cornish Multi (P1 and NG3)
Cornish Multi (G2 and SS-3)
Fractal FM3(mainly for delays, verb, and modulation)

Fender Jaguar and Lazy J20 combo.

After loads of "boutique" pedals around my boards, these 5 Boss pedals would do it for me:
BD-2w overdrive
TR-2 tremolo
CE-2w chorus
DE-2w delay
RV-6 reverb

2x Flangers, Chorus, 2x Delays.

BF-2, F.13N, CE-2w, DM-2w, El Capistan.

I can live without dirt pedals. Can't live without modulation or delays.

I only use five pedals powered by a one-spot and mounted to a Pedaltrain Metro 20.

Crybaby Mini - EVH Phase 90 - RAT - Boss DD500 - Pitchblack Mini

I would have at the least, these FX:

1- Phaser
2- Overdrive
3- Chorus
4- Flanger
5- Delay

So, on a "Vintage" inspired pedalboard:
1- MXR Phase 90
2- Ibanez Tube Screamer TS9
3- BOSS Super Chorus CH-1
4- Digitech Nautila (for Flanger)
5- Dunlop Echoplex EP103

on a "Boutique" board:
1- EHX Small Stone Nano v2 Phase Shifter 4800
2- EQD Dunes v2 Overdrive
3- Keeley Dyno My Roto (for Chorus % Flanger)
4- Walrus Audio ARP87 Delay
5- Alexander Pedals Space Race Reverb

I dont have a pic, but have recently removed the Mad Prof Chorus(just wasnt using it enough) and replaced the CAE boost with a Filltone FatBoost3. So its now a 4 pedal board, with a full size Wilson wah on the floor running a battery. A Cioks Adam powers the board.

So my amp is a rack setup that includes a TC 1210 Spatial Expander, a Dynacord CLS-222 Leslie Sim, and a Lexicon MX400 for delays. And a pair of Leslie G37s in addition to my stationary speakers. Do all those things count against my pedal count? That affects my decision haha. If I can rock all of those, my selection would be:
Fulltone 70 Silicon fuzz
Effectrode PC-2A compressor
TopTone DG-2 distortion
TopTone Light Drive overdrive
Effectrode Delts Trem tremolo
No. 1 guitar is a Gilmour inspired Black Strat

If I can't have my rack or leslie speakers I'll send home the fulltone fuzz and the tremolo, add a Dawner Prince Pulse and a Boss DD500. If I can have the leslie speakers I'll go with a TC SCF instead of the Pulse. Amp is Alembic F2B and a Mesa Simul-295 for the stationary cabs and a Mesa 50/50 for the leslies.

I dont own an amp right now (have an axe fx 2) but if I did it would probably be a Bogner Ecstasy 3534, so we will assume that is the amp. The chain would be:

Front of amp: source audio eq2 IO-1-> Tumnus Deluxe (mostly as boost/buffer) -> strymon mobius -> Boss DD200

Midi Controller: Morningstar MC6 with expression pedal

Effects loop: Source audio EQ2 IO-2 -> Source Audio Collider

Everything but the tumnus controlled by midi. I could do just about everything I need with that rig.
