He’d been working on a univibe at CB for years. Had a prototype at NAMM one year. He never felt it was perfect. I’d bet my left kidney this is it, what with the flashing light.

liking the fuzz clips and that univibe clip too, actually have never seen a bad clip from him, all have been groovy

he's also reaching out to a lot of people here with those tan pants in the univibe clip above

not-so-subtle hidden marketing ploy Howard, better than spelling out s-e-x in an ice cube

Oh please be the univibe! I always thought the dual speed & depth controls for chorus/vibrato switching was a great idea.

So it was "Cat"alinbread and that still exists right? But now there's "Kitty"caster? . . If Dave Friedman was involved they'd have other variations of that name! Wait the Steel Panther guy had the ***** Melter.. . ah nevermind. . Just wanted to say the Fuzz and Vibe sounded great. Love to check out the fuzz. When are they trying to release? Nobody knows yet right?

fwiw I think Catalinbread as a name is a reference to the paintings of bread made by Catalan artist Salvador Dali that resemble a certain part of the male anatomy (in other words it’s a fancy dick joke).

In any event, happy to see Howard gearing up to make more pedals. I’ll be especially curious about delay or preamp types he might make... he’s never made a BBD delay or a tube-based pedal...

    Happy Straturday!

I hadn’t played the fuzz breadboard in over a week after working on it every day for a couple months. I did that on purpose to give me a break so I could come back to it with a fresh perspective (and fresh ears lol). Here’s my test clip. I’m happy to report that I wasn’t compelled to start tweaking on the breadboard again. It sounds and feels exactly like what I want. I’ve been wanting this fuzz to exist for years, if not decades, now. It had to sit right under your pick, it had to hit the amp the right way, it had to clean up beautifully, it had to work great with a wah in front. Check, check, check, and check!
    .
    Rig is: #strat ➡️ #wah ➡️ #fuzz #breadboard ➡️ #marshall100wattplexi. Reverb is post-amp wet-only going to the Bassman Ten. #straturday #kittycasterFX #staytuned
