    I have a hrdx iii with JJ's, rebias, and a C-Rex.
I run the bass at zero. Even at this setting there is still a lot of bass coming through.
    Any mods to cure this?

Was this an issue with the stock speaker? Does this occur on both channels?

Yes with stock speaker? Or yes with both channels?

Did you buy the amp new or used?

Also - have you tried cranking it in a different room? No, I'm not being facetious.

Are you running your mids fairly high? If so, doing so can also affect the amount of bass. Provided there isn't anything wrong with your amp, the best mod you can do is the mid pot jumper mod: http://www.justinholton.com/hotrod/jvmods.html
Scroll down to where it says "TONE CONTROL MODIFICATION TO BETTER CONTROL BASS RESPONSE"
