I am having a custom guitar body made, and will most likly be using a HSH setup. I would rather have a swimming pool route for a lil convience, but does this take away a significant amount of tone as opposed to an HSH routing? thanks in advance!

Gilmours black strat is a swimming pool.

I dont think anyone will contest his tone.

I had all sorts of things to say, but I'm not sure I can compete with this.

I used to be turned off by the idea of a swimming pool route. Then I picked up my '96 american standard strat and it sounds fantastic. Now, i'd never use the pool routing as a reason not to buy a strat...
