Hey fellas...I'm in the process of wiring up my stratocaster with 2 Seymour Duncan Antiquity single coils and an Antiquity hum bucker (which sounds BADASS btw). My question is this...I followed the diagram on SD's website to wire up the pickups but when I followed the schematics verbatim, the single coils didn't work. Just for the hell of it, I reversed the leads from ground and the switch and voila! What gives? Why did I have to reverse them for them to work? Have I put the in-between tones (2nd and 4th positions) out of phase by doing so? Please understand I have VERY limited knowledge of the technical side of this. I'm just wanting to learn how to do these things myself and I'm a nerd in general and really enjoy it. FWIW, the middle pickup is reverse wound if that makes a difference. Thanks for any advice!
