Hey fellas...I'm in the process of wiring up my stratocaster with 2 Seymour Duncan Antiquity single coils and an Antiquity humbucker (which sounds BADASS btw). My question is this...I followed the diagram on SD's website to wire up the pickups but when I followed the schematics verbatim, the single coils didn't work. Just for the hell of it, I reversed the leads from ground and the switch and voila! What gives? Why did I have to reverse them for them to work? Have I put the in-between tones (2nd and 4th positions) out of phase by doing so? Please understand I have VERY limited knowledge of the technical side of this. I'm just wanting to learn how to do these things myself and I'm a nerd in general and really enjoy it. FWIW, the middle pickup is reverse wound if that makes a difference. Thanks for any advice!
