    Dream becomes reality...

I've been looking for the perfect, for me, Jr.
I've got along w/ a few Jr types including 3 Hamers, now 1.
But the frustration of a Gibby scale and only getting 90% of what I was looking for lead to an email to my fav luthier Nik Huber.

I told Nik of my idea and he was stoked as he is also a Jr fan and said if he made one he'll make 2 just incase ;)
Well after about a year of tweaking the new specs, this was Nik's 1st flat-top Dolphin and a thicker body than normal, she has arrived.

    Spec's:
-1 piece Mahogany body/neck, thicker than his standard bod's. Nik asked if I prefered Mahogany or Korina.
I told him to choose which ever was the best plank he had.
Plus the Mahogany combined with the 25.5 scale keeps much of the old school Jr vibe esp. with the thick bod.
    -IRW f/bw/dots.
-Schaller tuners with Ebony knobs and headstock overlay.
    -Nik's own designed wraparound.
    -Black guard.
-The control layout was also my idea, like the traditional Jr's.
    -Tabacco burst finish.
    -1 bad ass Haussel P-90

Here's a crappy pic of Huber Junior Prototype #1

Make with the good pics already! :p

Great looking guitar, and as I said before-great vision and execution.

    Can't wait to play it!

And I think that color looks great on it.

Thanks for the vision, as simple as it is. Nik was the man that executed it and made it real. He's an amazing artist/luthier as you know.
Anyway, you know me I'm about TONE man.

I'll get ya pix ya pain, jeez I play them not admire them :p ;) :D

Very Very cool. I'm glad you were able to create such a beauty with Nik. It's nice that other will be able to share your pioneering vision with the juniors that follow . I love the finish too.
