1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

Not Miami where he studied? Much nicer weather and women. Priorities must be had.

??? Good music school in Orono, yes, but you're in Phx, no???

If he was looking for an academic position, I am surprised Berserklee did not snag him.

people retire in Florida ! What a killer @$$ retirement gig (beyond qualified, on top of it !)

PLUS, the further rumor is that they are kinda "gutting" certain things, so I'm sure PM gets alot more autonomy & to input more so than if was @ Berklee

Very interesting. I'll believe it when it's confirmed by The Man himself, though. He lives in NYC and has a family, so that would be a big move all around - aside from the fact that he basically lives his life on the road quite a bit. On another level, the biggest change is that it could shore him up with a JOB!! LOL...maybe he's getting road-weary and is choosing to focus on being an educator? He can retire whenever he wants, I'm sure he i$ $et. But I'm not sure how this plays into his creative thing. Maybe it's time to 'give back'?
