It’s just a hair. It looks like an eyelash. Right next to the Fender logo on my Telecaster’s. I can deal with imperfections but not sure how to feel about a hair.

return or keep. Pretty gross but I love this guitar otherwise

    looks like this

I'd hang onto it. In ten years when guitars are made completely by CNC and robots, it will be a shining example of 'the good old days' when instruments were still made by people.
    :)
(Seriously, I'd just think it was cool, and keep pointing it out to people. Wouldn't bug me.)

Keep it. It was the Fender worker’s “thumbprint” so to speak, on that guitar.

Not sure I would like that at all. What is really scary is I may have the same issue on mine but I might have overlooked it. Time for a close look...maybe not.

It's the evolution of the Doghair finish.

It's going to happen. Guitars are made by people.

Return it. It obviously makes you unhappy aesthetically. I get that you like the guitar but that could just be the honeymoon period talking... if it were me I'd return it and try again... then again I am content on guitars at the moment and don't need anymore.

I thought Angel was on the soldering line, not finishing.

I gotta be honest and say that if it was my guitar I probably would have never noticed.

Just how closely do people here inspect new guitars? All I do is make sure everything is working and it plays well.

It wouldn't bother me...unless it's a red hair. That would be unacceptable.

I keep thinking maybe it was a cute worker or maybe a sweaty dude. It’s distracting

Easy fix, but I'd return it if it's new.
