Hi, I've decided to have a HSH configuration for my guitar build.

Now, I've got a bridge pickup already (BK Rebel Yell) that's fairly hot IMHO. And i've got a middle pup in mind that i really like as well.

I'm still thinkin of a good neck humbucker that splits well. I really want a very good single coil sound, not something bland/shrill/flat so on etc.

I've narrowed it down so far to Joe Barden Two/Tone, Tom Anderson H1+ but i cant really decide so i was wondering if anybody who've used these pickup could give me any recommendations or pointers, or ANY other pickup that you like for that matter.

there's no humbucker that splits giving you "the real" single coil sound, buy Bardens split quite great. They just sound different both full and split, from, say, SD '59 or pafs..

Thanks for the reply! Yeah i've heard glowing reviews about them, but they retail at $190 bucks which is quite a ball-breaker. add to that i'm finding hard to find any video reviews or demos of them and i don't want to jump blind into buying them.

I do realise that no split HB's gonna give me a genuine strat sound but let me know guys if you know any other alternatives that you've been impressed with!

cheers
