    Now hurricane Barry. Currently 40 miles south of Lafayette, sustained 75 MPH, gusts 90 MPH.

    Just rain over here, some street flooding. More possible until tomorrow. We are about two miles from the bay just outside the flood zone. Just heard the causeway starting to flood a bit.

    Me too. They seem concerned about how slow this thing is moving north and the amount of moisture it's bringing.

    That looks familiar. We use to have hurricane parties when I lived in FL as a young man. Booze almost always offsets rational thought.

    Looks like it’s gonna move through my area around 1 AM on Sunday. We’ve just had rain and constant wind but no big deal so far.
